Why do we use NTI?
Because NTI is a condensing boiler, it is very energy efficient. The NTI boiler uses oxygen much more efficiently since the system is closed and waste heat is recycled. This type of boiler incorporates an additional heat exchanger to transfer the latent heat from flue gases to heat cool water entering the boiler. This means you get more heat from the same amount of fuel. Conventional boilers waste heat by sending it directly up the flue. In addition, conventional boilers must be de-rated about 4% per 1000 feet due to the decreasing oxygen levels at elevation. To make matters worse, the lower atmospheric pressure makes LP and natural gas expand further, educing their per-cubic-foot BTU content. This is why you can save up to 30% in fuel costs when you install the NTI boiler. Both energy-efficient and low-cost, these boilers are state-of-the-art and the reason we recommend them for most of our solar thermal installations.
NTI’s Boilers follow A.S.M.E. industry codes as well as being developed in-house and offer both basic (1-6 year) and extended (6-10 year) warranties in addition to our own warranty means that you won’t have to lose sleep over these units’ ability to perform anytime in the near future.
